India’s Yogi movie to get 2,500 screens in cinemas

New Delhi, India — India is set to roll out 2,000 screens of the blockbuster comedy film ‘Yogi’ in cinemases across the country on July 25.

The movie, which follows a character of Indian Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath, stars Dhananjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma, Anupam Kher and Shubha Sharma.

It has grossed Rs 20 crore ($4.2 million) at the box office, making it the country’s biggest opening weekend.

The film, directed by Kishore Kumar and produced by Pankaj Kapoor, will be shown in 50 cinemas across the state.

The company says it will also screen it in other cinemas.

The film has already received praise from critics and has a positive critical response.

The movie has been hailed by critics for its depiction of politics and caste.
